Letter #1: As a law enforcement officer there are many things that must be learned in order to protect the people in your care. There are many hours spent on training in all of the different aspects that go into police work and the consequences if one acts in the wrong manner.
There are many people that become police officers that have never had to face a combat situation in their life nor have to make the decision to engage someone in hand to hand combat. Although officers have many tools at their disposal, there are times when those tools cannot be accessed either from the exigency of the situation or from the way a situation can rapidly evolve. When these situations present themselves the person facing that situation has to be prepared for anything to happen. It is extremely important when it comes to law enforcement that the officer has confidence in what he/she has been taught and that they execute what they have learned.
The HV-10 system of training is the fastest way for one to gain the basic principals of what it means to defend themselves and how to end the situation quickly. The system itself is geared for people from all walks of life, combat oriented or not, to establish the basic need and confidence that one must have when engaging in an altercation. Striking with precision is a vital key to ending an episode as fast as possible. This holds true in the law enforcement realm due to the fact that officers face this threat nearly everyday in their job. The HV-10 system is unique because it teaches both males and females how to strike with impact and, in some cases, giving the females the same amount of force in a strike as a male.
Many police academies fail to provide the time for adequate training in hand to hand combat. This is a vital downfall when the officer goes to the street and is asked to protect themselves or someone else. HV-10 instills confidence in the student instantaneously giving them another tool for any type of altercation.
Females in our society come at a greater danger then that of their male counterparts. Predators, violent or not, tend to single out women as their source of satisfaction. The HV-10 system is aimed at giving women tools to fend off the worst crime that can happen to the woman…rape. Rape defense is often overlooked by people, but this is one of the most heinous and imposing crimes that a woman can have done to her. With the HV-10 system the woman can give herself options if that attack comes and have the knowledge to defend herself in a terrible situation.
In closing, the HV-10 system is a great system not only for its technique but for its rapid response that it receives from the people learning it. Above all law enforcement officers should attempt the HV-10 system not only for themselves, but to make sure that they come home every night to their families and loved ones that depend on them. As a law enforcement officer I train in the HV-10 system and find it to be truly beneficial to the needs that my job brings me day in and day out. In the law enforcement world there is no “train to much” because there is always someone out there that knows more then you do and has nothing to lose. . If you have any further questions regarding the HV-10 system of training or my personal experiences feel free to contact me with the contact information given or log on to www.FusBoxe.com.

Letter #2:
As a rookie patrolman on a large police force, I understand that both officers and citizens alike can find themselves confronted with violent subjects and often when they least expect it. For that reason, it is imperative that I am equipped with the skills necessary to protect both myself and the general public. From the very first lesson, I felt the HV-10 system provided me with a skill set that was so easy to learn that it immediately became like second nature. The most basic strikes taught in the system provide devastating power and speed that far surpass any other defensive tactics style I have trained. I feel more confident knowing HV-10 is on my tool belt and I encourage any other officer to try just one lesson and see for themselves how valuable it can be.
